Bring a little spooky magic to your Halloween crafting with the Printable 3D Vampire Coloring Page – Fun DIY Halloween Activity for Kids! This isn’t just any ordinary coloring page—it transforms into a freestanding 3D scene once kids color, cut, fold, and glue the pieces together. Featuring a creepy-cool Count Dracula, a glowing moon, bats flying through the night sky, and even a pumpkin in the foreground, this craft is both festive and fun. Children will love the hands-on creativity and the excitement of watching their flat coloring page turn into a 3D Halloween decoration.

This 3D Halloween coloring page is perfect for kids who love both art and construction. The background showcases Count Dracula’s castle perched against the night sky, complete with bats flying by a full moon. The foreground features a freestanding vampire character and a festive pumpkin that pops out to create depth. Once completed, the layers come together to form a spooky, yet playful Halloween scene that kids can proudly display at home, school, or even as part of a Halloween party setup.

Look at the 3D Vampire Coloring Page at different angles.

Parents and teachers will appreciate how simple and affordable this activity is to prepare. All you need is the printable template, crayons or markers, scissors, and glue. Children color the different elements, cut them out carefully, then follow the easy instructions to fold and glue the pieces into place. The result is a Halloween craft for kids that doubles as both an art project and a seasonal decoration. It’s a great way to encourage kids to take their coloring to the next level with a unique 3D design.

The Printable 3D Vampire Craft also helps kids build important skills while having fun. Coloring allows them to express their creativity and practice fine motor skills, while the cutting, folding, and gluing steps add an extra layer of coordination and following directions. When finished, they not only have a project they’re proud of, but also a keepsake that can be displayed all season long.

This vampire craft is especially exciting because it feels interactive. Unlike a flat coloring page that’s put aside once it’s finished, this 3D version stands upright, creating a spooky little scene kids can show off. They’ll love pointing out the vampire, the bats, the glowing moon, and Count Dracula’s towering castle. It’s a Halloween decoration that feels extra special because it’s been created entirely by them.

If your kids enjoy this 3D Vampire Coloring Page, be sure to check out other fun Halloween crafts on the blog. Favorites include the Printable Witch Popsicle Stick Craft, where the popsicle stick becomes a broom handle, the silly Frankenstein Hand Puppet Craft with a moving mouth, the colorful Coffee Filter Bat Craft, and the magical Halloween Agamograph Optical Illusion, where kids see a ghost shift into a witch as they tilt the paper. Each craft combines creativity with seasonal fun, giving families and classrooms plenty of options for hands-on Halloween activities.

The 3D Vampire Coloring Page is also a perfect group activity. Teachers can use it as a Halloween classroom project, letting each student color their own Dracula scene to decorate the room. Parents can print out multiple templates for siblings or friends to do together at a Halloween party. Because each child chooses their own colors, no two vampire scenes will ever look exactly the same, making each creation unique and personal.

Whether you’re planning a classroom Halloween celebration, a homeschool art activity, or a family crafting night, the Printable 3D Vampire Coloring Page – Fun DIY Halloween Activity for Kids is a must-have. It’s spooky, creative, interactive, and perfect for kids who love coloring and hands-on projects. Step 1: Download and Print

Begin by downloading the Printable 3D Vampire Coloring Page Template. For best results, print the template on 8.5x11 white cardstock paper. Cardstock is sturdier than regular printer paper, which makes the final project hold its shape better once folded and glued together.

Step 2: Color the Pieces

Now it’s time to get creative! Use markers, crayons, or colored pencils to decorate your vampire, pumpkin, castle, moon, and bats. Encourage kids to really use their imagination here—maybe their Count Dracula has a purple cape, green skin, or even a rainbow castle. The background can be spooky with dark blues and purples for the night sky, or more whimsical with bright, playful colors. This is the fun part, so let kids go wild with their creativity!

Step 3: Score the Fold Lines (Optional but Helpful)

This step isn’t required, but it makes the folding much easier and cleaner. Grab a ruler and a toothpick. Line the ruler up with each of the dotted fold lines on the template. Then, gently drag the toothpick back and forth along the fold line. This “scores” the paper, making it crease neatly when folded. Kids love the magical feel of this step—it’s like creating a secret guide for their folds!

Cut out all of the pieces.

Step 4: Cut Out All the Pieces

Carefully cut out each part of the template along the solid black outlines. This will include the vampire, pumpkin, background, and any extra pieces like the bats and castle. For younger kids, you might want to help with the cutting to make sure the pieces come out nice and neat.

Step 5: Fold and Pop Out the Background

Take the large background piece and fold along the dotted fold lines. You’ll also notice two short, solid black lines—these are the cut slits. Carefully cut along those lines, then unfold the background.

Gently push the rectangle section you just cut forward so it “pops out” from the background. This pop-out piece will become the stand that holds up the castle in 3D.

Step 6: Glue the Castle in Place

Take your decorated Dracula’s castle piece and attach it to the rectangle pop-out that you created in Step 5. Apply glue to the popped-out rectangle tab and press the castle firmly on top. Once it’s glued, the castle will stand out in front of the background, creating a fun 3D effect.

Step 7: Attach the Vampire and Pumpkin

Next, fold the glue tabs on the vampire and pumpkin backward. These tabs are the little flaps that allow the pieces to stand upright. Apply glue to the tabs and attach the vampire and pumpkin to the designated spots on the background. Press firmly and allow the glue to dry so your vampire and pumpkin stand tall in the scene.
