How To Make The 3D Fairy Paper Dolls
Materials You'll Need
Printable Fairy Paper Dolls Template (available for download)
Markers, colored pencils, or crayons
Scissors
Glue

Step 1: Print the Template
Start by printing out the paper doll templates on 8.5x11 white paper or cardstock. Templates are FREE to download and can be found towards the bottom of the post.
Step 2: Color Your Fairy Paper Dolls
Now it’s time to bring your fairies to life with a burst of color! Grab your favorite crayons, markers, or colored pencils and let your imagination soar. Whether you want your Leaf Fairy dressed in soft greens or your Rainbow Fairy shining in every color of the sky, there’s no wrong way to color these magical friends. Encourage your child to add unique touches like polka dots, stripes, or even sparkly stickers to make each fairy one-of-a-kind. This step is all about creativity and fun—so relax, color outside the lines if you want, and enjoy the magic!
Step 3: Cut Out Fairy Paper Dolls
Carefully cut along the outlines of your colored template. Take your time to make clean and precise cuts.
Step 4: Fold
Lightly fold the Fiary Paper Doll at the waistline.
Step 5: Glue Your Fairy Paper Doll
Now it’s time to transform your flat fairy into a magical 3D creation! Carefully place glue on the glue tab located along the edge of the fairy’s dress. Then, gently wrap the dress around and attach the tab to the backside of the opposite side of the dress. Hold it in place for a few seconds while it sticks. This simple step gives your Fairy Paper Doll its charming 3D shape—allowing it to stand up tall and proud, ready for imaginative play or display on a shelf. Step 6: Color and Cut Out Wings
Time to add some fluttering flair! Each fairy comes with her own unique set of wings—but don’t be afraid to mix and match! With 5 magical fairies and 5 beautifully designed wing sets, you can let your creativity soar. Grab your markers, crayons, or colored pencils and bring those wings to life with color. Step 7: Fold the Wings
To make your fairy truly take flight, it’s time to fold the wings! Find the glue tab in the center of the wings and gently fold on both sides of the tab. This will create a little flap so the wings can stick out from the fairy’s back, giving them a fun, fluttery 3D effect. Your fairy is almost ready to soar!
Step 8: Glue Wings to Fairy
Now it's time to bring the magic together! Apply glue to the tab in the center of the wings, then carefully press it onto the back of your fairy’s body. Hold it in place for a few seconds to let it stick. Once attached, the wings will stand out beautifully, giving your fairy doll its final enchanting touch!
Your fairy is now complete—and she’s absolutely magical! With her colorful dress wrapped into a 3D shape and her wings fluttering proudly behind her, your fairy is ready to sprinkle a little enchantment wherever she goes.
