Ahoy, crafty mateys! If your kids love pirates, parrots, and clever paper crafts, they’re Roar and stomp — it’s time to transform your little ones into mighty dinosaurs with this fun and easy Paper Dino Feet Craft for Kids! If you have a dino lover at home who’s always pretending to be a T-Rex, Triceratops, or a gentle Brontosaurus, they’ll go wild for this simple paper craft they can actually wear on their feet. It’s creativity, pretend play, and a giggle-filled workout all rolled into one!
Kids adore dinosaurs for their giant feet, thunderous stomps, and larger-than-life presence — so why not let them experience the fun for themselves? With this Printable Dino Feet Template, your kids can color, cut, and assemble their own wearable dino feet in just a few easy steps. Watch as they stomp through the living room, backyard, or even host a mini dinosaur parade with friends!
One of the best things about this craft is that it’s so budget-friendly and low-prep. All you need is the printable template, some cardstock paper for sturdiness, glue or tape, and coloring supplies like crayons, markers, or colored pencils. In no time, your child will be ready to stomp around pretending to be the king — or queen! — of the Jurassic jungle.

What makes these paper dinosaur feet so special is that they’re fully customizable. Does your kid dream of green T-Rex toes? Or maybe pink and purple Triceratops claws? Let their imagination run wild! They can add spots, stripes, or even sparkly scales if they want. This craft is all about letting kids create their own dino identity.
Parents love this craft because it keeps kids busy, active, and entertained — without screens! After they finish coloring and assembling their paper dino feet, kids can spend hours pretending to be dinosaurs on a big backyard adventure or a living room dinosaur dance party. It’s a perfect boredom buster for rainy days or school breaks, and a fun way to sneak in a little exercise too.
Hosting a dinosaur-themed birthday party or playdate? These paper dino feet are a huge hit! Set up a coloring station and let each little paleontologist design their own dino feet before stomping around together on a backyard “fossil hunt.” They double as a craft activity and a party costume that everyone can take home!

How To Make Paper Dino Feet: Fun Dinosaur Craft
Materials You'll Need
Printable Dino Feet Template
Markers, colored pencils, or crayons
Scissors
Printer

Step 1: Print
Start by printing the Dino Feet Template on 8.5 x 11-inch white cardstock paper. Cardstock is extra sturdy, which helps your little dinosaurs stomp around without tearing their new claws!

Step 2: Color
Time to let your child’s imagination run wild! Use crayons, markers, or colored pencils to color their dino feet however they like. Green scaly T-Rex toes? Rainbow Triceratops claws? The choice is theirs!

Step 3: Cut Out
Carefully cut out each dino foot shape along the outside lines. Be sure to also cut out the inside shape so your child’s foot can slide right into the middle. Younger kids may need help with this part.

Step 4: Fold & Wear
Fold the flap up at a 90-degree angle — this will help the paper dino feet sit on top of your child’s shoes or socks. Slide each foot inside the opening and watch them stomp, rawr, and parade around like real dinosaurs!

✨ Extra Tips for Roar-some Dino Fun!
✔️ Laminate the paper feet before cutting them out for extra durability, especially if your little dino plans to stomp around outside.
✔️ Have your child wear socks and lightly tape the sock to the inside of the paper dino feet to keep everything in place. This keeps the feet from sliding off during their big dino adventures!
And there you have it — an easy dinosaur craft that’s ready to stomp, roar, and bring tons of prehistoric fun to your living room or backyard.
